Thanks for your help already, but it is saying that it could not update MSI engine and that i need to do it manually, when i am try to install nero 8. Sorry to be a pest.can anyone help please.

In order to resolve the Cannot update MSI engine. Please update manually. error, you have to delete the files/folders initially created during the failed installation.

Open Windows Explorer & type %TEMP% in the Address bar & hit <Enter>.

Then find the Nero Web & nero.tmp folders & delete them. Close Windows Explorer & start Nero Product Setup again.
