Nero 7 DVD film burning

I have an AVI file which I would like to burn for use on a stand-alone DVD player, using Nero 7.

After burning, the video quality is good but the sound is all a bit 'Darth Vader'.

What am I doing wrong? Could somebody run me through the process on a step-by-step basis?

Many thanks in advance.

Install the k-lite codec pack, click here and try again, ArrGee, I have had great success using it and Nero Vision Express to encode and burn avi files to DVD. They play flawlessly on my standalone DVD player/recorder.

You could also try using DVDFlick, if you are having limited success. click here ,again, I have had great success with this application as well.

Cheers for that MAJ. I have had K-Lite installed for sometime and tried to use Nero Vision Essentials.

I'll give it a go with NVExpress and DVDFlick.

Many thanks.
