Nero 6 CD copying and CD Rom Drives

I had a dvd cd rom player and an LG 52 speed copier if i wanted to copy a misic disk or anything else i we given an option in nero to choose the writer, worked well
now i have purchased a phillip DVD writer, i removed the dvd reader aid replaced it with the phillips
Now if i want to copy i can only do so from the DVD drive using my LG as my source, because the drop down menu for the source shows the 2 drives, but the destination only shows the new DVD phillips drive, or on image drive, and never copies on the fly anymore.
Any ideas you clever people out there, would be thankful for any help

Sounds as if you have an OEM version and this is "locked" to the original drive

You will have to purchase a full copy or install the version that came with the new drive(thats if you got any software)

It might be worth "removing" the CDROM in Device Manager > Hardware, then rebooting and hoping Windows will recognise your new drive in all its glory!
