Nero Formatting Re-Writable Disks

I am having problems formatting re-writable disks with Nero I'm having no problems erasing it from a Yamaha 24x10x40, once the disk is erased i'm taking it home, copying off the data and attempting to once again erase the disk this time on a 8x4x32 (I forget the make) but it is showing an error of not detecting a re-writable disk in the drive.

Is the speed differences between CDR's causing the problem? Or is my home CDR on it's last legs? Or could it be a software problem, I have no problems burning blanks cds.

Any advice would be appreciated.

First of all go to the Nero site click here and update to the latest version. its free

You could try opening Nero and erasing the disk first (its in one of the settings at the top - not in Incd) and then try to re-format using Incd.
