My computer runs with Windows XP and I have Nero version 3 on it. I am trying to put some video clips on to a disc but I'm wondering if there is a way of condensing or zipping the content so that more fits on to the DVD disc?

Any advice would be welcome, thank you.

What file format are you using? converting the files to a different format may compress them enough to fit on a DVD

Plus ypou need a format your DVD player will play unless playing on a PC.

I'm not very technical, but hopefully this makes sense -

I am opening clips in youtube and then converting using the youtubedownloader program so that they are then installed on my computer (XP). I then use DVD flick to convert to the right format to add to Nero and create a DVD.

I hope this makes some sort of sense.

Thank you.

So you are trying to save Yuo tube flv files to play on a stand alone DVD player attached to a TV?

Yes that's right. Saving from youtube and putting on to a normal DVD-R to play on a normal DVD player.

Is your DVD player capable of playing other types of files such as DivX or mp4?

if not then possibly struggling unless DVD shrink will do what you want.
