If you upgrade a nero oem ver 5 to ver 6 on the internet by downloading the trial versiion & paying for a srial no. can you then save this to disc as a hard copy?

You don't update from 5 to 6 - you do a fresh install.

No reason why you can't save the various component .exes to disk.

Sorry that sounds really grumpy - going down with flu again and my heating's packed up.

It is recommended that that you thoroughly uninstall Nero5 before installing 6, even though the actual BurningROM component has only minor GUI changes.Do save the the various components to disk for future reinstalls[although as they update virtually monthly you'll be able to install the latest version using the serial number].
