Hi could anyone here possibly suggest some software that can be used in a small care home for autistic adults it needs to be some sort of "Care Management System" for special needs, a friend of mine has this type of business and has been trying different software but all are a bit to in depth he installed this demo click here click bottom right hand corner/then ECS Software/click bottom right hand corner photo gallery, he liked the layout but found it was more for the medical side of care, something along the layout lines but on a smaller scale i.e. for 6 residents and 12-18 staff. It would be to keep trck of,
Meds.
Meals.
Behaviours.
Banking.
Expenditures.
Staff.
Incidents.
Risk Assesments.
More than happy to pay for such software

That's a very specialist requirement, but if you do a UK Google for "care home software" you'll get a number of results that might be of interest.

Hi Pineman100
"That's a very specialist requirement"

Thanks anyway.

One of the things that people often have to deal with in software is the fact that many packages have greater capabilities than they really need.

Microsoft Word is a classic example - it has hugely powerful 'top-end' capabilities that relatively few people ever use, but in order to enjoy its features at the level they require, people buy it anyway.

So you may have to consider buying something that is more sophisticated than you really need, and then use only the bits that you *do* need.

Good luck with your search.
