Need some noise!

This may sound like a strange request, but I need at least 15 minutes (preferably at least 30 minutes) of continuous "white noise" such as that of a vacuum cleaner or hair dryer.

Anyone know where I can find this on the Net? I can find only a few seconds.

That sounds good, corsstrainer, but there must be somewhere I can download noise for free.

Why not record your own direct to PC, with your vacuum cleaner. All you need is a mic and something like Skype.

Thanks Technotiger - that's probably the most obvious solution. I have a mike but never used Skype.

Can I use a recorder that's available with Windows (XP)?

Thanks brundle - that's not too bad.

Tried plugging in a mike to the pink audio port but get no sound input using Windows Sound Recorder.
