i need a (preferably - but not critical) instant on device for viewing sites offline i have downloaded to it prior to taking it out of the office. have got sony clie nr70v and a hp jornada 928 but these are not good enough (screen too small and rubbish resolution), also tried psion 7 - too slow at rendering html. does anybody have any suggestions?

thanks for any help

I would just recommend biting the bullet and buying a cheap laptop (preferably a small one if that's what you need).

click here I would go along with davidg's advice. If the devices you have are too small to be usuable, you will probably only be happy with a laptop.

Opera 7.11 has a small screen viewing option so that you can get some idea of what it would be like on a PDA without actually buying one.

This is how it looks: click here

Before you do buy something, make sure all the websites you need to view offline use technology that will allow you to do so. It not very easy to do if you have a site that uses a database, or server-side scripts.

A tablet PC may suit your needs, but a laptop is far more likely to do so.
