hi, can any 1 help me.
I have been given an old computer tower, which has no memory. I cannot get hold of my friend who sold it me at the moment. But it has no memory in it, so obviously i cannot switch it on at the moment.

It is a intel celeron 667, or something like that.

I think it is SDRAM as the 2 slots are quite big and they look like this

------------------------ ---------- ---

I have had older computers given to me and the slots wasnt this big.

thnak

To find out exactly what kind of memory your board supports, find out the make and model, look at motherboard for identifying marks and names/numbers or refer to manual for this and then go along to crucial and enter the details. This will give you your options for memory

Does it matter that i have a intel celeron and not a pentium?
