hi, can any 1 help me.
I have been given an old computer tower, which has no memory. I cannot get hold of my friend who sold it me at the moment. But it has no memory in it, so obviously i cannot switch it on at the moment.

It is a intel celeron 667, or something like that.

I think it is SDRAM as the 2 slots are quite big and they look like this

I have had older computers given to me and the slots wasnt this big.

So i think it is a dimm, is there any differnce with the speeds, i think i noticed that there was a 100 mhz and 133 mhz. will any work in my computer, just as long as i get a dimm.

To find out exactly what kind of memory your board supports, find out the make and model, look at motherboard for identifying marks and names/numbers or refer to manual for this and then go along to crucial and enter the details. This will give you your options for memory
