Need help with instal and setting changes

I know that when you change the settings on a Ms Office package you will be prompted for the disc.

There is however a way to install the needed files and avoid having to get the disc itself. Can someone tell me what i need to copy and where must it be placed, so that the program finds the right files instead me having to run up and down to get a disc.

Yes copy the office folder off the CDROM disk and copy this into your OFFICE Version installation root directory, the CD will be able to read from there then.

Where and what is the folder called as none are called that. There is in the program folder a folder called Microsoft Office then Office and Office 10.
Which is then the right folder to copy the file to ?
