nasty blobs of ink on printour

  jack 17:11 24 Dec 07

Epson printers are renowned for messing up prints when the waste ink tank needs sorting and the machine starts 'over topping great gobs of black ink.

Now my R300 I have fitted with an external waste ink collector- so that should not be a problem.

This problem is that from time to time, usually the first print of a run blobs of colour usually Cyan, but it could occasionally be Magenta - just pure colour will besmirch the edge down one side of the sheet
It will be a large very wet blob too.
What does any one think causes that?
