NAS and Email

I'm thinking of buying a NAS device in order to share all my files over a network. The question is, can I set something up from this so that my email inbox can be viewed from all the PC's on the network from this NAS device? (Preferably using Outlook).

Thanks!

but I've never considered doing what you suggest, nor have I seen it done. I'm certainly not sure how you would be able to do it in Outlook, which is what I use, but then I don't have the need for it, I synchronise my Outlook folders across my desktop and laptop via the network, using third party software.

Thanks for the response.
How does the synchronisation via the network work?

I have briefly ( for experimental purposes) done what you are proposing using 2 machines running Outlook 2003 and windows xp.

Once a network and file sharing is established, I share the OUTLOOK.PST file on the main PC. On the second PC, I went into File | Data File Management |Add new Data File and pointed it to the shared Outlook.pst file on the main PC.

I sure this can be modified if the pst file is stored and shared on the NAS
