Narrow webpage

I have had a new computer today Pentium 4, 2.8, with Geforce FX5200 graphics and Windows XP Home.
When I display some webpages (The BBC NEWS Page) the page is shrunk down to three quarters of the screen. There is nothing on the right quarter of the screen. The PC Advisor web page displays ok. The BBC webpage was displaying the whole screen correctly earlier, so I do not know if I have altered anything.
Please can anyone help me please

I forgot to mention I have the screen resolution set at 1024 x 768

There is something wrong with the BBC site. I have the same screen resolution as you and see the same "thin page".

It was fine yesterday.

Since I posted that, I have tried a few webpages, and I am getting only three quarters of the page

Does click here display correctly?

I have tried that webpage and the page is centered, with two smaller blue bands either side

I have tried the Wanadoo, and it is has you say, it is thin. I was on the BBC website this morning, and I am sure it fit the whole of the screen.
