I know there are packages out ther that filter comtent to try and stop kids going into porn etc. My question is can I actually specify the sites they can go on ie. could I have a list of 20 web sites that I knew where alright which they could surf and once I had vetted a site they wanted to go to add this to the list. Is that possible and if so which is the best. Thanks

If you have Windows XP you can control what she sees from inside Windows.

No need for extra software.

In Win XP Pro, go to Start Menu/ Control Panel/Network and Internet Connections/Set Up or change your internet connection/Content tab/ under Content Advisor click Enable and follow the on screen instuctions.

Not too sure about M E though

I have been to c panel and then clicked on network connectiona. A list comes up with Dial up and my isp,s and under that my network. There is only create a new connection or set up a network. No more luck if I click on connection its self. Sorry but must be doing something wrong

You go into Set up or change your Internet Connection.

I was assuming you had Administration rights.

You will need to Log-on as Administrator then.

Sorry just re-read your previous post and it appears that you are going into "Network Connection" instead of "Set up or change your Internet Connection"

You need to follow the instructions carefully.

My mistake I do apologise,I assumed you were using the XP interface and not the Classic one.

Anyway click Control Panel/Internet Options/Content/Enable
