You could try sfc /scannow instructions CLICK HERE

You could try the suggestions from this link CLICK HERE although it say win vista it would be the same for Win 7

Note: you need to run the command prompt as administrator.

Go to start-all programs-accessories, right click on command prompt and select run as administrator.
