My XP will not stay in 600x460

My xp computer will not stay in 600x480 resolution Iit keeps switching to 600x460res. for no apparent reason it doesnt matter how many times I reset it any help PLEASE postie

I think you'll find that the lowest resolution you can go to would be be 640 X 480.

That is the resolution cooki8c mentions in the actual thread.

If you right click on an empty section of the Desktop>Properties>Settings tab>Advanced button>Adapter tab and click on List All Modes, all the colour/resolution/refresh rates supported by your card will be listed.

You can highlight the particular combination required and OK it - ensure that Windows doesn't need to be rebooted for it to take effect.

No it isn't. He/She mentions 600X480. I don't think that is a valid resolution, I may be wrong.

Do you need that resolution to enable you to use your computer? Or is it for a specific task?
