My Windows Desktop keeps losing resolution setting

I have set my Windows 98 Desktop resolution to 1024x768 in the desktop properties settings.

Frequently when I boot up, it has changed to 640x480.

I'm not sure that this has anything to do with it, but Norton Windows Doctor reports a missing file 'macoree.dll' that is need by c:\Program Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime\0700\Intel32\DotNet\Installer.exe

Any suggestions anyone?

David_w, go to program files-accesories-system tools-system information-tools-system file checker

Ensure your win 98 cd is in and run program.
