i have just revamped my website using serif webplus 8, ( my previous version was made using webplus 6) the problem is all my friends tell me that when they click to select one of my pages on the site, they get a pop up ad for porn, gambling.ebay etc.
this never happened b4 serif are yet to answer my submission to tech help and my isp is a spanish one and the technical language is always difficult with my limited spanish.

anyone have any clues? click here

in evidence, and it spoils the experience as far as your site is concerned. It's a good site, and will no doubt be a useful business tool - all the more reason to move it to another host as soon as possible.

The problem is nothing to do with Serif as far as I can see - it looks like a Wanadoo issue, and you may find that the free hosting agreement contains references to advertising being part of the deal.

Magenta text on a green background is very difficult to read. A lot of people are colour blind. click here

Agreed about moving your host a.s.a.p. Adverts for casinos are probably not what you want you want to associate with your business image. Even worse on the site for my teacher's meditation centre (>_<)

On the My Town and Information pages the text is a graphic image. This is not nearly as sharp as text, and takes longer to load.

PLEASE get rid of that horrible Green border on every page that wastes half the available space, and reduce the size of the buttons, which would also look better as text. The animated sun is OK and the donkey is bearable, but the animated email box is just a bit too much.

although I wouldn't put it so strongly perhaps!

The medium is the message. If the donkey house is a bit tacky then you are bang on message - but it looks rather nice actually and it is a shame that the site design doesn't convey this.

I would suggest dropping the border and the animated gif, and the graphic text; they don't add anything and they slow the site badly. I would use a good picture of the house on the front page instead. I would also change the palette to somthing more summery and drop the link underlines.

I hope that doesn't come across as over-critical esp. since you only enquired about hacking!

I think serifs software does it by it's self
