My IE7 won't install properly!

I have downloaded the installer for IE7BETA2 a ran it, but it didn't succeed. I used a program to detect regestry errors and it found the HKEY for mailto(it said access denied). I went to the registry editor and looked at My Computer>HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT>mailto and right clicked and selected permissions and it wouldnt let me edit it. Some screenshots at:

Do you really want to try out IE 7 Beta.... if you do a search on PCA, i believe you will find that several people have had problems with it....hence only in Beta 2....

Either way, I believe the permission needs to be allowed because it seems to be causing problems with any web browser. Like if I click on a mailto link the computer will start launching a new IE6 window every half-second which laggs the computer so much that i have to press on the physical emergency power button
