This Laptop most likely will not have a hidden partition will it?
know about that a recovery disk is given with this laptop but do not think my gran would still have it.

The prob is that it is overheating so much that you just do not know how long it will stay on.

quite often it will switch off even less than a second after she has pressed the power button.

she has not got the battery.

it has always overheated since day 1

anywhere can get right fan cheaply so can replace the fan as i think that is what it needs

There is a 'Change Currency' button on the page, it is on the right, just above the top blue band line.
"Login - My Account - Shopping Cart - Help & Info - Change Currency"

just called my gran to say that passed details across via email so she is going to look at them in the morning.
she was quite pleased with me finding the exact specifications
hopefully this is what it needs

hopefully this is what it needs...

what if its not, might be an idea to confirm it is the fan first...

  Jwbjnwolf 21:13 02 Jan 11

because it has always been faulty i am pretty sure it is the fan
when grandpa first got for my gran, she said that it were well hotter than usual, and my grandpa said that she were making a fuss about nothing.
anyway, she said that she will get granpa to come over to have a look, to see if it is worth it.
