My Epson D88 printer won't do landscape

For some years I have been producing a church notice with details of Services and those taking part on a Microsoft Works Spreadsheet and printing it out by choosing Landscape on the radio button of the printer Properties page. This last week I have made numerous attempts on two different computers linked by my local area connection to the only printer an Epson D88, but each one comes out in portrait, needing two pages of A4 instead of one. On checking the Printer Properties, I find it has reset itself to Portrait, even if I go through Control Panel to set it. Is there a cure, or do I need a new printer?

check the paper size settings...

Assuming it's A4 you're using, it presumably has the width as 21 cm and the height as 29 cm...

Can you set a custom size, and reverse this, such that it has a width of 29 and a height of 21 ?

It's probably not the real answer, but it might do as a workround. I'd be surprised if it's a hardware problem with the printer, rather than a software issue.

Perhaps you could try a system restore to before it started?

Good luck,

Regards,

Simsy
