My Documents (etc) in XP

Is there any way of changing the location of the My Documents (etc) and User folders in XP? I don't really want to put my data files on the same partition as my OS. I know I can put these data files where I want but that makes the My Documents, Music and Pictures shortcuts somewhat redundant in the personal settings page.

Right click on the "My Documents" folder on your desktop and then choose properties from the Menu and you can change the target folder.

But it would mean changing the addresses in the Registry to the new locations

Thanks. I knew how to do that in Windows 98 but hadn't been able to find that option in XP. Thought it must be there somewhere.

If it is in the registry you don't need to know about it. XP does all the hard work for you.
