Remind me how to do this please:

I'm passing on my old PC. In My Computer My Documents shows as 'VoG's Documents'.

I've changed the registered owner but this has no effect on My Documents.

Change the name/s in Control Panel; User Accounts.

What!! I've just realised who is asking the question.

Thanks! So simple.

I should add that my post was not intended to be disrespectful. I suppose you could say that instead it is a reflection of the appreciation that this site has for your involvement.

I find it doesn't always get rid of all the references to you. My dad got a second hand laptop, the previous owners name was every where, how I got rid.....

I'd create another new admin account, eg NEW USER. Then delete yours, and when it asks do you want to keep all old files, say no to delete them.

Boot licker. ;-))))

If you create a new Administrator account. Delete the old account you should now be able to delete VoG's Documents.

More a reflection of the truth I think. But yes if you must!

Isn't that what I just said?

With respect your posting was at 21:57 and BRYNIT's posting was at 21:58. It could have been only seconds difference between both of you typing and posting. I've found that through being a slow "typer" that these posts can give out a wrong signal. :)
