I have been using an LG HDTV as a monitor using a HDMI cable via the PCs Graphics card. I am now trying to use my old Dell U2410 monitor as my primary display using a RGB cable from monitor to Motherboard and this is causing difficulties. Any help would be much appreciated.

At a guess, your graphics card has disabled your onboard graphics - as it should. You may need to physically remove the graphics card in order to re-enable your onboard graphics.

Don't do anything till someone else comes along, though. I may be wrong.
