My computer reboots itself

  akin_ralph 22:00 20 Oct 05

I bought a pentium 4 ,3.0G, 40GB ,xp computer system recently.
The system is now misbehaving as it suddenly
reboots itself after it is on for 10 minutes.
Will somebody help me find out what the problem is?
Thank you in anticipation.

Right-click on My Computer, click Properties, click the Advanced tab. Under Startup & Recovery click Settings. Under System Failure untick the box in front of Automatically restart.

The next time it should shut down with an error message on a blue screen. Write that down and post it here.
