Hello all, every time I open a page on any site if I scroll up or down it takes about 5secs to respond, it just hangs for a while,at one time it scrolled straight away, even when I click on my fav's it hangs for the same time, I thought it may be memory so doubled it to 2Gb and that has not made any dif, I am on XP and have IE7, my computer is an Advent T9207, I only use it to browse but it has become a bit of a pest, please can anybody tell me why this is happening or a way to cure it, I'm not very techie so please bear that in mind with any replies, many thanks to you, Brian.

Try this.

Try command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns a small gap between ipconfig and forward slash or it will not work.Ok. it should tell you DNS has been flushed if so reboot and see if it works any bett

Clean out temporary internet files and other redundant rubbish by running a disk cleaner. I use Wise Disk Cleaner.
