Can somebody please tell me if it safe to download either Kazaa or Napster so that I can download music. I'm not really sure whether to do this or not. Thanks, Ann

Hi Ann,search "music" on this site to find out all you need to know about kazaa and music downloads.

Napster is now totally legit. You pay a £9.99 monthly subscription to download as many tracks as you want. However you can't transfer them to a portable player or burn them to CD unless you pay an additional 99p per track!

Kazza is an illegal peer to peer network where you're at risk of getting a lot of unwanted spyware and so is best avoided.

A better bet maybe iTunes (79p/track) which again is legal.

Hope this helps

Nick
