Good evening everyone...

I was sorting out my loft today and came across two computers from many years ago, the good old commodore amiga a500 and the a1200. I came across many music files I had created using free products like MED and PROTRACKER. They used a file format called MOD and you could compress instrument samples into these files too.
Is there anything like this available on pc? preferably free until I get back into it properly. I have seen protracker but it doesnt work in xp-pro.

Many thanks in advance

Put ... mod files ... into a Google search. The first lnk up recommends WinAmp for MOD files. Lots of other links too.

click here= supposed to work with Win2000, so maybe OK with XP too.

That program is top notch and works great in XP pro. Many thanks for that one. It also converts mod files into mp3. Cant ask for more really.

thanks again
