Multiple Remote Server Monitoring Software?

 mv786 16:24 21 Jan 09

There are over 5 remote servers I would like to monitor. They are simple file servers however I need email alerts sent to me if any of the servers went down, if file size was low or some of the services stopped running.

So far I have found some osfwtare that only monitor networks but not remote servers which are in different locations that connect through a router.

Any ideas which software would aid in what I would like to achieve pls?

Many Thanks!

Try click here
It may not meet all your needs, but works as follows:
You configure your server to email the servers every day or every time you run a job on your server.
It then keeps track of when it last got an email from your server and emails you if it does not receive an email for more than 36 hours.
You can also configure to email you if the email does not arrive in a certain time window (e.g. between 4am and 6am each day.)

There is nothing to install on server or your PC!

It should do everything you need. Click here

I've used it in the past and it works very well.
