Multicopies from CD are now in My Documents.

Whilst copying files from Ancestry.com to CD these files mysteriously appeared in My Documents, there are some copied as 30 or 40 copies. But each of my Ancestry census files seems to have been copied. I have checked with my AVG paid Virus not Free and all of my files are clean. I would like to know the best way to remove these files as they are taking up a lot of space on my Hard Disk.

First, not a good idea to post your email address - it will get harvested for spam. The envelope beside your name may be used to send you an email, at your invitation.

The copies will be a temporary store used during the copy process. You should be able to right click on them and select Delete.

To delete them all, click to select the first, hold down the Shift key and select the last. Then press Delete on the keyboard.
