I did a bit of housekeeping to gain some space, ie removed some old programmes, steam etc changed from mcafee to norton. Now my fonts have gone wonky and I cant get them back, and its the same on IE8, CHROME, OPERA!! What have I done wrong?

All the fonts look a bit like italic, ie not sharp enough.

Sounds more like a display problem. What do they look like in a word processing program?

This used to work for XP

Go into the fonts folder, right click inside the folder, click install new font, install arial black.

OR you may be able to "reset" via Internet Explorer.

In IE go up to VIEW then to ENCODING... Select AUTO SELECT but you might also try select CYRILLIC (Windows). Everything should return to normal.

Wow!!! all I can say is fantastic, I tried both and I have the correct typeface back, delighted.

What did I do wrong in the first place??
