MSN not a valid Win32 application

  Murielson 1 14:44 17 Aug 08

All - trying to get Windows Live Messenger on my daughters PC and keep getting the subject error message.

OS is Windows 2000 and running IE 6. Had a good route around in Google but every download I find appears to indicate it will work comes up with the same error message.

Any help or directions towards help would be most appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
