MSN messenger/hotmail username remembered

  vaughan007 08:28 18 Feb 03

Hello everyone,

I have windows XP and use hotmail and MSN messenger quite often. I have had several hotmail accounts in the past which I have used as my messenger accounts also. When I go to log into messenger the ".net" log in box will appear. Basically, the problem is that all my previous usernames appear in the username box. I would just love to know how to get rid of them. Only a minor annoyance I admit, but it would be nice to know how to do it and not have to scroll past email addresses I have not used for 6 months. The most annoying thing is that I have done it myself before, but just cant remember how.

Cheers everyone.

open control panel, select user accounts, select your user account, then under related tasks select manage my network passwords. delete the ones that you dont want.

Once again PC advisor helpdesk does the trick.
