Help. We have a network at present with one ethernet connected and four wireless. The router we have is a Netgear DG834GT. To help with one of our wireless laptops we added a WGX102 Netgear extension kit to boost the signal strength. This ment changing our network to NETGEAR on all computers which we did and all are on the internet ok. Yhe problem is that we cannot sign in to MSN Messenger anymore, it reports there is a problem with your internet connection, which is working, or possibly firewall. We have turned off Windows firewall as the router has its own and cannot see anything is being bloked. Have run out of ideas within my knowledge so Help !!!

Try reinstalling messenger. Also are you sure you dont have any 3rd party firewalls such as zone alarm running.
