MSN as a default on my IE 6

Ever since my last windows 2000 up date, pack 4,
when I open the IE I get as a default the MSN messenger address.

I have tried to make default the BLANK and after I start the PC it always present as a default page the MSN page.

How can I stop this happening as I only want to have a Blank page when I open the IE?

Hi wiz33. You can do this by editing the registry, but an easier way is to use Mozilla Firefox click here, then your browser will be free from Microsoft, more virus proof and have the advantage of tabbed browsing.

I have just downloded Mozilla and I hope it will stop this nuissant of pop up adverts.

I had the pop up stopper of googles but doesnt seem to stop everything.

Thank you

Hi wiz33. In Firefox popups are controlled via Tools - Options - Web features. Start page is controlled via Tools - Options - General.
