MSI Live Update Error Message

I have just started to get the following error message and cannot figure out if it is a problem that I have or if it is a fault on the MSI web page.

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e09'

Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.

/autobios/VerChk/LSeries.asp, line 105

I used to be able to connect to the MSI website via Live Udate3, then connect to their server to download any Bios or Driver updates. Now I get the message above whenever I try to follow the link to the Live Update server.

MSI recommend exiting anti-virus, and updating Microsoft Installer and I have done both of those with no effect. So far MSI have not replied to my email.
Any ideas anyone?

I get the same message on MSI Live Monitor. If I right click the sys tray icon it has the option of Auto Search and I get the error message but when I try 'Previous Results' it works. I think the fault is at MSI end.

The problem seems to have been with the MSI server. A look at the MSI Forum shows that this problem has happened to numerous others. On trying Live Update today it worked first time. This subject is now closed as far as I am concerned.
