msconfig--how to in win2k

in win98se if i wanted to stop programmes running at startup i could disable them in msconfig and uncheck the boxes.
How do i do this in win 2k, if I try to run msconfig it dont work, is it somewhere else?

There is no msconfig in W2000 (why?).

You can use MSConfig from another OS, if you can copy it from XP then that is the best way to do it.

you can also navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and remove what you don't need here first. Mind export the registry first so you have a backup...
