Hello all,

I went into run>msconfig to remove a few things from the start up process that weren't needed and just slowed me pc down.

I use windows XP. Now in the msconfig window i am set to "selctive boot".

When I restarted I got a message saying that things had changed and to select "normal" to undo the changes.

Now, I'm probably gonne be bugged for the rest of my life....but apart from that me pc seems fine.

Any suggestions on what the safest bet is, bearing in mind I don't want useless stuff booting up slowing my poor pc down (she serves me so well!)

Ta very much!

On restart you just tick the box and press OK - it won't bother you again.
