I am working on a friends pc at the moment and it it keeps coming up with a Run32dll error message at startup saying cannot find MSCOMM.exe. I have read that it is assosiated with visual basic? does anyone know how to remove it/stop the error. It doesn't appear to affect the pc its just anoying.

look for the name in run - msconfig - startup and if there remove the tick.

Yep I have already tried that and I did a registry search and deleted the ref to MSCOMM.exe but to no avail!
