i like a fool let it in last night, zone alarm flagged it but i foolishly let it in,i am a novice but now a little wiser.a bit dissapointed £35.00 norton never blinked, but free zone alarm flagged it up,anyway,i got it at 8.49 last night.couldnot remove file, could not get any website (150k ntl)modem flashing away, downloaded patch to remove from symantec, and patch to keep out from msn, removed access from zone alarm turned on xp (xp pro)firewall.(sorry downloaded from work pc me )then had to phone ntl and after very long wait found out the modem had uninstalled itself (although it did not show my end) now back on line after uninstall then install modem driver (driver only) sorted, lesson learnt, according to ntl man 300,000 ntl infected and rising, spreading to dialup.and thats just ntl.
