MS Works with Office Pro 97

MS Works and Office Pro 97.Can these be installed separately, and run without conflict?

Think you are right. I may uninstall 'Works' and install MS Office Pro.
( To answer your question, I wanted to keep 'Works' for other members of my family )

Yes they can. I have Office 2000 and MS Works 4.5. The only reason I stay with Works is because I have 3 flat file databases that I know how to use. Access, being relative, is a bit too complicated for me.

Same here, I left Works Suite 2003 on my PC with Office XP until I had safely copied over any files, especially Excel files. then removed Works suite. There were no conflicts. j.

I loaded Office 97 into ordinary windows XP home without problem. I still use works word processor but wanted Power Point.
