MS Word and PDF files

I prepared a .docx document in Word 2007. On completion I saved it as a .pdf file and then (stupidly) deleted the original .docx document.

I now find that there is an error in the .pdf file but how do I edit it? Word will not open it and I can find no way of converting it back to a .docx document.

.

Perhaps your original .docx file is still in the Recycle Bin?

Peter.

Open with pdf reader, I assume the file will open, and then copy and paste into new word document. You will need to redo formatting etc.

Or google 'pdf to word freeware' for a free program.

Or if you don't wish to go the online route you can download a program to convert - not download is at bottom of page (not the download buttons at the top)

sorry - should have read "NOTE download is at bottom of page"

...everyone for your very prompt and helpful replies.

In the end I went for 'Free PDF to Word Doc Converter' suggested by Sea Urchin. Worked very well indeed.

Once again thanks to you all:-))
