Ms Word Help

I'm having a brain fart.

I somehow mistakenly changed the layout of all my Word docs when I open them up and cannot figure out how to restore it.

When I open up a new blank doc, the cursor is right at the top of the doc. If I then go to "view" then "Header Footer" then hit the "close" button on the header/footer box the cursor is exactly where I want it and it should be and where it always was before I did something to it.

How can I get it back to the "default" way it use to be?

Any suggestions?

In Word 2007 click the Office button > Word Options > Display and tick 'Show white space'.

In earlier versions this setting is somewhere (View?) in Tools > Options.
