Everytime I open Microsoft Word it is Times New Roman which is set at default. How do I change it so I always get Verdana as default?

Revi, open Word select Format/Font select the required Font style then select Default, you will be asked if you want to change the default Font Style to Verdana click Yes.

this is for Word 2000.
Click on Format, click on Font, set the characteristics to the font you want to use and then click on the Default button at the bottom of the dialogue box.

Each new document you open will start with the font you have chosen.
