Since MS Update "Nero 7 Has Stopped Working" Msg.

Anyone else getting this annoyance?
I've rarely had it happen before, but since installing today's MS updates it's notified me four times in the last hour, saying it "needs to close".
That would be rathert difficult, since it's not open!!
Can anyone recommend any decent alternatives?

Believe Nero runs a little program at startup called something like System Filter Checker.
Checks for codecs and such but it remains running afterwards.
Could be refering to this.
Use cCleaner/Tools/Startup to disable it or msconfig.
Not sure if it runs as a service or program.

Thanks ashdav,I think I've found it lurking under the Startup tab : - "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\Lib\NMBgMonitor.exe"
I do check these items quite often, and surprised I hadn't noticed it before!
Just disabled it, see how it goes!

Just noticed, I have already disabled another one (can't remember when) : - "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\Lib\NeroCheck.exe".
The buggers are breeding!!

Just noticed, it records when it was disabled!...24/10/09 @17:23

NeroCheck was the one I was thinking of.
