I have a couple of Samsung 10Gig drives that have MS-RAMDRIVE partitions on them. How do I get rid of them. I can't find a Samsung Low Level Format routine on their Web site to try that.
HI, Thanks for responding. No. Fdisk is of no use at all, even in "proper" DOS mode. Fdisk will not remove the partition, in fact it has difficulty in recognising it. The drives really want a Low Level Format, but I can't find a routine to do it. Thanks for your responce. Tyman.
Can you add them as secondary drives to a machine with Windows and try from there... win2k / XP might be best.

try Ranish partition manager; download it free from click here

If you try this then be careful you don't muck your working HD

Good luck
