MS Outlook 2003 Fault

  Macnut 11:29 30 Jan 09

Outlook has stopped working. The error message I get is: 'Cannot start MS Office outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available.' I have tried running the sort problems bit from the original MS Office disks - it runs then says all is now well. It isn't. I am using Windows Vista.

Can anyone help?

It looks as if this may help. It aske me to run the Custom Instalation wizard. Can you tell me where I find this?

Thanks Macnut

"To resolve this issue for an existing installation of Outlook that is experiencing this problem, specify the .pst file by using the Mail icon in Control Panel."

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook is the usual location of the .pst file
