Sometimes I receive an e-mail but it doesn't go directly into my inbox, I have to find it first using 'advance find'. It only happens to some e-mails that contain attachments. Is there a way of making sure all my received e-mails are placed in my inbox without the need to use 'advanced find'??

I'd be grateful for any help.

When you do find them where are they. Have you set up any rules which might do this. Check in the "Organise" page. Click "Organise" on the toolbar along the top and check the four options available to see if there are any rules doing this.
