MS Office XP - Media Content - How to Access?

  Charlie Babbage 20:03 31 May 06

MS Office XP is installed from 2 CD-ROMs, one for the main programs such as Word, Excel etc and the other for 'Media Content'.

I have installed both these. However, when I open Word and then try to insert clipart into a document it states 'Insert Media Content CD into CD drive'. Why do I have to do this if the Media content files have already been installed on my hard drive?

I realise that I may be doing something wrong but if anyone can assist, this would be appreciated.

By default the Media Content CD only loads a limited amount of clip art onto your HDD. The majority is retained on the CD.

When you choose a piece of clip art which is on the CD you are asked to insert the CD.

The overriding reason for this is to save space on your HDD rather than clogging it up with unnecessary clip art.
